CAPRICORN NEW MOON was a MAGICAL REALISM-REALITY CHECK

So how did we go with the Capricorn New Moon, which was exact 6.51am January 19th, AEDT?

Presumably we've all been utterly consumed & busy with real world practical, tangible imperatives, even as we've been valiantly working our magical intentions, as we go? In this spirit has been mad busy here at GypsyQueen HQ, so posting this a few days later than planned...

To the degree New Moons are always a fresh emotional perspective, in Capricorn we tend to be fixated on how being in control of our circumstances, with total self mastery is what makes us feel good. Which can be genuinely empowering, of course, but also we can be so wound up we forget to actually feel anything, too deeply.

Especially joining Mercury & Mars, exactly conjunct in Capricorn. The sheer power of walking our talk, about our crystal clear intentions, with passionate determination is awesome! Also the temptation to control freak every little detail, can be kind of overwhelming.

So kind of a blessing in disguise, to have this Moon opposite Jupiter retrograde, in Cancer. We want it all and we want it now, as Jupiter can be impatient about instant gratification! But being retro, we realise true emotional intelligence is the capacity to slow down, and take the time to tune into our most meaningful, idealistic imperatives. That will take their own sweet time to guide us, towards the expansive growth we are craving right now.

So as the Sun joins an exact Venus/Pluto conjunction in Aquarius, as I'm writing this the day after the New Moon. We are next level plugged into our most potent, wildly creative desires & lust for life on our own, unique terms. Kind of an exercise in the human condition-turning up with our most visionary sense of purpose, even as we have to wrangle it into realistic expression, with all the tedious bloody details & discipline required. WTF-I want to speak to manager, why is real life sometimes so challenging, to magically manifest our desires in???

Maybe a chance to realise the value of patience & discipline, to keep the faith as we cultivate our schemes & dreams slowly, but very surely-with personal responsibility that has been the gift of this Capricorn New Moon. We are our own manager, as masters & mistresses of our Destiny, to the degree we can walk our talk about it with practical, emotional & spiritual integrity right? Cliche but true.
